WRC this week!
GREAT job at the Scott County Fair everyone!!!! It was supposedly cooler out than last year, but it didn't feel much different to me. Regardless, the shows were awesome! :)
This week Tuesday we'll finish up Grassy Creek and do some reviewing. Thursday we'll plug away at Bout It and maybe review a little too.
On Wednesday, guess who is running the open dance? I am! You should all come - it'll be just like another practice! :D
This Saturday we have shows in Jordan and Hanover! We're wearing black capris, white shoes and socks, and either the blue or pink WRC shirt (surprise me!).
For the Thresher Festival (Jordan): please arrive by 9:30 AM. Go south on Highway 169 into Jordan. At the traffic light, turn right onto County Road 9. Turn left at 190th Street (go West). Stay on 190th Street until you get to Fairview Lane (we think this is the road just before the Scott County Fairgrounds). Turn left onto Fairview Lane (Go South). The Threshers Park is on the left (East side of Fairview Lane). I feel I should also mention to/remind you that this is a two hour show as we are alternating with the squre dancers. :)
Its now 5 PM on Friday and dancers are dropping like flies. Ok well not literally - but if you're free for the Hanover show we SERIOUSLY need more people. :) Please and thank you!
For the Harvest Festival (Hanover): please arrive by 2:30 PM. Take 494 west to 94 west. Take the 95th Av N/CR-30 exit and turn left on 95th and right away right on CR-30. Turn right on CR-116 and left on 109th Av N. I'm told that 109th is also CR-117 and then turns into CR-19. We are dancing in Settler's Park. Mapquest says it will take an hour to get from Jordan to Hanover.
Moment of the week:
Sean changing his clothes, in the open, by putting on two shirts and two pairs of pants and just pulling off the first layer. You really just have to see it! ;)

Saturday!
Hi team!
Here is the info for Saturday. We're dancing at 3:30 and 5 PM in the gazebo. Please arrive no later than 3 PM. We'll wear our blue WRC shirts for the first show and pink for the second with black capris, little white socks, and white shoes.

Me again. :)
I'm back on my kick about ordering everyone warm up suits. As I can't find warm up suits anywhere, I'm settling for zipper hoodies. (And we always all wear black pants anyway.) WRC this week....
Hi team!
This week Tuesday we'll review Grassy Creek and the State Fair Mix. Thursday we'll keep plugging away on Bout It. :)
Both nights will be in the NEW Pat Peare studio! Bring your own water though 'cuz as of last Thursday they hadn't installed the drinking fountain yet....
**We will not be able to wear clogging shoes this week! Please bring socks, jazz shoes, slippers or some new sneakers to wear. Any shoe that has never been worn outside is OK.**

Moment of the week: the random little girl running up in the middle of our show asking "can I dance with you?" Haha!

WRC this week!
Hi team!
There is no class Tuesday since we have the Roseville show.
Here is that info: We're on at 7:30 so please arrive no later than 7 PM. Please wear your pink WRC shirt with black capris, white shoes, and little white socks. Roseville Central Park is at 2540 Lexington Av. N in Roseville. Take 35W north to Hwy. 36 east. Exit on Lexington and turn left. The park is on the right before Co. Rd. C. If you need a ride, please let me know ASAP. Also please make sure you're checking the lineup below so we can have the final version ready by show time. :)
**The city of Roseville may decide to cancel if it storms tonight. I will monitor their website (at http://www.cityofroseville.com/parks/) to keep you informed.**

WRC this week....
Hi team!
We will be rehearsing this week for our show in Rosevile on the 17th. Please check back for the location of practices as the Pat Peare studio may not be available for us....
**Let's plan on dancing tonight (Thursday) at Pat Peare. I haven't been able to reach them, so keep your fingers crossed that there will be room for us! :)

The sound that now accompanies "double step rock up step touch" in I Play Chicken With a Train. Haha! I do love my WRC! :)

WRC this week!
Hi all!
Tuesday night practice may not be at the Pat Peare studio this week. Please check back Tuesday afternoon to see where we'll be dancing. Wherever we are, we'll be reviewing songs and learning the State Fair Mix for anyone who wants to compete.
**As of noon Tuesday we still don't know. ALSO we will not be performing in the 4th of July festival - so enjoy your day off! :D And also the Clog Camp pictures are now up in the photo section!
Thursday night we'll start Black Horse and a Cherry Tree. This is an advanced dance so come prepared. :)
