WRC this week!

We rocked the State Fair today! :D Yay us!!!!

I hope everyone is feeling OK and is drinking lots of water!

This Tuesday we'll run the fair shows one last time for the Thursday, Saturday, and Monday shows!

Please remember that for the shows we're wearing our pink shirts on the days when there is one show and blue in the morning/pink in the afternoon when there are two shows. Black capris and white socks/shoes for all.

Please also remember that we have two shows coming up on September 8. St. Boni's in the afternoon and IGH Days at night. Then we can relax for a while....

Thanks to everyone for all your hardwork, dedication, and sweat. :) TTFN!

Congrats to all on what sounds like another successful show at the State Fair! Wish we could have been there (rather than where we are!) I have some not so great news. We had to miss practice on Thursday night and the first show of the State Fair due to a family camp out and canoeing trip we planned early this spring. That part all went really well (did not get eaten by a bear). However, we circled back to our cabin before planning on going home. Mackenzie was out on the jet ski with her dad and Gretta was water skiing behind. They were stopped and Mackenzie decided to move the tow rope. At the same time, her dad gave the jet ski a little gas. The rope kind of got sucked in to the jet ski, but it was also around Mackenzie's wrist. The action broke her arm. She's in surgery right now at St. Mary's in Duluth, where I was a nurse many years ago. She'll spend the night here tonight and we'll probably take her home tomorrow. But she won't be dancing with the Irishettes at her first football game and whether she'll be ready for the fair next weekend, I can't say. Say a prayer for her! Get ready to sign a pink cast.

Oh nooo! And I myspaced her telling her how mad I would be if she hurt herself this weekend. I hope she knows I was kidding! Poor Kenzie! I will pray for her and please let her know that we wish her a very speedy recovery!!!! Please keep me posted!

Oh, how terrible! Just the way to start the school year, too! (I hope it's not her writing hand?!?) We'll be praying!

I am sorry to hear about Mackenzie. Take care.
I have some more bad news. Janie's brother died yesterday. So keep her in your thoughts and prayers also.

That's horrible! And so close to the passing of her sister-in-law too. Please send her my love when you talk with her.

Thanks for all your notes - I'll have Mackenzie get on and read them too. And yes, it was her right hand! Was hoping to make it to clogging tonight but am stuck in St. Louis so will make it in too late.

Thinking of Janie now.......

Hi,

Would anyone be leaving from the Burnsville area for the Thursday State Fair show who could take Jillian? We live in NW Burnsville, but can meet you somewhere. We would need you to bring her home, too. Also, we're looking for the same kind of help for the Labor Day show.
I'll be checking the site.

I could swing by on my way home from work - just let me know if you need me! :)

Hi Deanna I just left a msg on your phone ... I'd be happy to help out ... we will be taking the bus from the transit or/BHS High School. Not sure the actual time ... just let me know if this will work for you.
cell 952-240-2453 or home 952-707-6872....is your best bet to reach me. As everyone knows ... I don't get on line too often!!

Andrea

MacKenzie ... sorry to hear your bad news. What a way to get out of the first fews days of school!! Hopefully you can clog at the fair ... just don't do any dances that you need "arms" for!

Take Care,
Andrea
