WRC this week!
Hi all!
This week Tuesday (8 PM at Pat Peare) we'll be working on the telethon dance(s) and Grassy Creek.
**Well it's now 6:20 on Tuesday and no one has posted that they want to have practice tonight - so....TUESDAY CLASS IS CANCELLED! Happy Snow Day! :D**
Wednesday is the open dance/holiday potluck at the VFW in South St. Paul. It goes from 7 - 9 PM and is $5 ($3 if you're a GSCA member). Take 494 east and exit on Concord. Go north and the VFW will be on your left before you get to Valentino's.
Thursday (8 PM at Cindy's) we'll be working on the telethon dance(s), Bout It, and the new advanced steps.
See ya soon! Go check out the nationals pics on the photo page. They're all up now. All 155 of them. :D
TTFN!

I'll be at Mackenzie's jazz competition in Bloomington tonight but should make Thursday. We were so excited last Tuesday night when we were at Burnsville High for her kick competition and they announced the national anthem would be sung by 4 students: "Somebody, Somebody, Somebody Else, and SEAN NORRIS"!! They all sounded great and I got him on camera, not while he was singing but while he was intently watching the Burnsville Blazettes do their dance.

Jillian couldn't make it tonight anyway, as she has dress rehearsal for her play on Saturday. She will miss Thursday night for the same reason.

Oh, and we saw Shelly and Ken on KARE 11 news at 5 tonight! I RARELY watch the news, but was watching to see if dress rehearsal-see previous post :-) would be cancelled!

Hi all, if anyone has some free time tomorrow (silly, I know!), you should go see Jillian's play. She plays a talking bunny named Bonnie in Snow White. The show is at Hidden Valley Elementary in Savage-Andrea's old school, where we just were last week. To get to the theatre, you have to walk thru the cafeteria where all of the food was that night. Adults are $6, students are $5. The shows are at 1 & 7, but you can be seated up to half an hour before they start.

Shoot - didn't see this message til now. I'll bet she was great!
I had quite the interesting experience today. You know the big "Deal or No Deal" auditions that were going on this weekend in Inver Grove Heights? My friend/neighbor got picked out of the bunch yesterday and a few of us went to audition with her today as her posse. (I think only about 15-20 out of 10,000 got picked for the callback.) She/we apparently did well and now her tape will be sent on to the final decision makers and she will likely be called within 2 - 18 months to be on the show!
