WRC this week! Please read and comment!
Hi all!
OK listen up there is lots of info here! :)
This week Tuesday we'll work on Cry of the Celts for the telethon and then review Hold Your Horses, Shakin', and whatever else we have time for. This week Thursday we'll run Cry of the Celts again and keep working on Bout It and the advanced steps.
Tuesday night at 7 PM there has been a request to have a WRC meeting for adults only. All adult dancers (and parents!) are welcome to come discuss what dances we're working on and any other concerns or items that you want to talk about. We will meet at the Subway next to the dance studio.
Saturday is the telethon! We're running the dance at the Mayo Civic Center right at 9 PM! Please be there by 8:45 to make sure you find the practice room on time. If anyone needs to carpool, let me know. We'll be on TV at 10:30 - although we might go on a little earlier! Costumes will either be black pants and a WRC shirt or black pants and a black t-shirt. I'll let you know as soon as it's decided so please be ready either way.
For the telethon, I am expecting only Cindy, Jess, and Jillian. No one else has signed up - so if you are planning on going please sign up below immediately. We need to know how many people we have for our ending formation.
The other thing I've requested a response to is the competition/workshop schedule below. So far just Jess and I are going to any of them (and Shelley to KC!), so if you had been planning on it too - you need to let me know ASAP!
February 28 - March 2, 2008: the EPIC conference. This is a workshop and competition in Pigeon Forge, TN!
April 4 - 5, 2008: City Slicker Stomp - workshop and competition in Kansas City!
April 19 - 20, 2008: Northern Colorado Clogging Championships in Fort Collins, CO - this is a competition only!

Sorry Tammy, only part of this comment pertains to your post above!
Jillian will be selling Girl Scout Cookies starting this Saturday, 1/19. She is not allowed to accept orders prior to that, but we wanted to let you know! Each box is $3.50. We'd appreciate any orders from the Wild Rose Cloggers. You can check with Jillian if you have any questions.
Is tomorrow's mtg just for adults, as in, Jillian shouldn't be there? Thanks!

Hey tammy, my mom says that we can maybe go to the Colorado one and the Kansas one...she told me tell you that we are interested. but knowing that you know me you know im for all three:P lol

I may be interested in the April Kansas city workshop...but not competition. Is there a website for info on workshop and hotel?
