WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week will be spent working on the dances for the recital, and reviewing other dances as time allows. I have already sent our names in for the recital program, so if you haven't yet signed up, and want your name in the program, please let me know ASAP.
WRC Moment of the week: the Possins getting involved in a hit and run on their way home from practice Thursday. They are fine. It was not their fault. And I'm still really not clear on what happened as by the time I talked with them all I heard about is how cute the police officer was. That conversation, and subsequent google search of his name, continued until 12:15 AM. And I can't really believe I just admitted that to you all. ;)

WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week we will be spending half our time on Love Revival and half on I Don't Dance to get ready for the YDE recital! :)
Also, Laura and I had such a great time with the Smashin' Toe Cloggers at the CO competition, that we're joining forces again - permanently! Each performance team will remain the same, but we will be competing as one! And we would like to add more dancers to our competition team!
If you're interested in competition clogging, please let me know by the end of the month. The time commitment will be an additional 45 to 90 minutes of practice every Thursday night - this is in addition to your regular class! There will be three dances for you to learn, depending on your dancing level. One routine is intermediate, and the other two are advanced. This means that no matter which night you normally dance on with me, this is something you can do! And this is open to all ages!
As far as costs go, we will need to purchase costumes and pay entrance fees and travel costs to the competitions. We expect to do two competitions per year and will do as much fundraising as we can to help keep costs down.
This new competition team will start in May, so let me know by the end of April if you're interested! :) And look for pictures from CO soon!

WRC this week!
Hi all:
Monday classes have been canceled due to a lack of interest. If you're wanting to find other beginner classes, please e-mail at cloggingdiva42@gmail.com to let me know.
Tuesday night we'll work on the formations for Love Revival, so come ready! We'll also run I Don't Dance a few dozen times. ;) Thursday night Jess is in charge and will finish up her dance. We'll start a new Thursday dance next week. (Probably Sold!)
Please check your e-mails for WRC party info! Also the WRC Workshop will be on Saturday, June 14th not the 15th. Sorry about that! And if there is enough interest when we order this next round of t-shirts we can also get hoodies, etc. so let me know if you're interested in that!
WRC Moment of the Week (you saw this coming): Ash wearing one shoe with liberty taps and one with stompers. Maybe you had to see it, but that was definitely a moment! :D

WRC this week!
Hi all!
Beginner classes start tonight at Sky Oaks (7 PM)! So far no one has signed up so I'm not sure if it will be beginner from scratch, advanced beginner, or both....
Tuesday night we will work on Love Revival and get to Grassy Creek if there is time. Thursday is Jess' dance and review....
I'm planning to start new dances soon so stay tuned! :) And don't forget the GSCA Spring Workshop and meeting is this Saturday! TTFN!

WRC this week!
Hi all!
This week we'll be reviewing tonight and starting Grassy Creek if there is time. Thursday will be review and to keep working on Jess' dance.
In addition to the shows Mother's Day weekend and the first Saturday in August - don't forget about the GSCA spring workshop and meeting on April 12! It's really important that you're all there! If for some reason you can't make it, but sure to send in your GSCA membership renewal form ASAP. Thanks! :)
Also I am working with Pam Portz and Shannon McCarthy to get a fall workshop going either the weekend of September 12 or 19. This will be at the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI and will be mandatory for Thursday night dancers (yes really!) and strongly encouraged for Tuesday night dancers! :)
