WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week Monday we will start beginner classes in Burnsville. Please see below for registration information.
This week Tuesday we will run the dances for Marilyn's show and re-learn Lobster Bucket. This week Thursday we will finish up Hips Don't Lie and I Don't Dance and start Sold if there is time.
Please remember that you are a part of a performance team and your attendance is required. If you are going to miss a class you MUST call or e-mail me to let me know that you will not be there.
Comp team will be starting up again on April 16 at 6:30 PM. If you want to be a part of the next STC competition team you will need to start attending the practices on that date. If you want to learn some advanced steps and dances, but don't know yet if want to compete, you should come too! Please e-mail by 4/9 me to let me know that you're interested so that I can plan ahead.
And finally CONGRATULATIONS to Jess who won second place overall in the amateur female solo freestyle in Kansas City!!!! Everyone did an amazing job and it was an awesome weekend! :D

WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week Tuesday Marilyn will work with us on dances for the April 16 show - Mama Mia, Rocky Top, Ida Red, Amazing Grace, etc. Thursday will be another review night as a couple of us will be gone on spring break.
Competition is this weekend in Kansas City! Remember there is a workshop too, if anyone wants to tag along! :D

WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week Monday will be review night in the Burnsville class. Tuesday is our show at Parkshore - please arrive at 6 PM. Thursday night we will review some not-so-moldy oldies like Country Roads, I Don't Dance, Big World, Sold, Black Horse, Chicken Train, and Hips Don't Lie.
Comp team - dress rehearsal Thursday at 6 PM! (I think we're starting with WDYTYA.)

I see snow! :(
SNOW DAY! I do hate to say it, but I think we have to cancel tonight. Please see below:
Check back later to see if practice is on or not. (Hit Ctrl and F5 to make sure you are seeing my latest post.) And remember we are running the show tonight (if mother nature allows) and Thursday both so you are welcome to attend either night. If you are performing next week, you MUST be at one (or both!) of the practices this week. :)

WRC this week!
Hi all:
This week Monday there are no classes in Burnsville. Owatonna class will have review night.
This week Tuesday and Thursday we will be running our March 17th show! Thursday comp team will dance WDYTYA at 6:30 and Faith at 7 PM. And we'll walk through the Jezabell formations at 7:30.
It may snow on Tuesday so check back to see if we have a snow day or not. (Hopefully not!)

This week Monday the Owatonna class will learn the Dragon and the Burnsville class will learn Get Back to the Country and All Shook Up.
Tuesday we will review Ida Red and Ladies Choice and dance Do You Love Me, Mama Mia, Amazing Grace, and Rocky Top.
Thursday is comp team at 6:30 and at 8 we will run the Hip Hop and review Big World. We'll also dance Hips Don't Lie and Karma if there is time.

Kenneth E. Larson
Larson, Kenneth E. December 13, 1930 - February 25, 2009 Burnsville, MN. Long time employee of Unisys. Preceded in death by parents, Ruby and Oscar; wife, Marianne; brother and sister-in-law, Oscar (Smiley) and Lila Larson; sister, Donna Mae. Survived by wife, Janie; children, Rick (Stephanie), Randy (Shelly), Janel, Brad; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters; sister, Lois Larson; also 4 step children, Steve, Terry, Randy, Missy; 8 step grandchildren; 2 step great-grandsons. Memorial service Monday, 10 AM, visitation 9:30 AM, Apple Valley Baptist Church, 964 Garden View Dr. 952-432-3151. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the or Apple Valley Baptist Church.
