This week we will be getting ready for our St. Patrick's Day show on both Tuesday and Thursday! If you are in the Irish dance, please plan to arrive at practice at 7:30 on Thursday.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lisa who is now a Bailey Mountain Clogger! She auditioned at Mars Hill College last week for their clogging team and (of course) got in! I'm so proud! :D

This week Tuesday we will keep reviewing what we know. Two Feet of Topsoil will be our next routine once we're ready to learn more.

Thursday there is no class as most of us are heading to the Smokey Mountain Encore for the weekend!

This week Monday there are beginner classes in both Burnsville and Owatonna!

Tuesday we will review dances starting with Grassy Creek and Kentucky Borderline, and then move on to everything else!

Thursday we will dance what we know and then move onto Hips Don't Lie. Remember comp team practice starts at 6!

Tuesday night dancers should know: Tell Me Ma, What a Feeling, Sold, Bad, Munster Rag, Grassy Creek, Little Red Ridinghood, and Kentucky Borderline! (Whew!) If we can get through all of that we will put the formations into KY Borderline!

Thursday night dancers should have Ski Bumpus and Blue Jeans. We will start on Hips this week. Comp team will run Soul Sister until our brains hurt and also freestyles.

This week Tuesday we will be running the show for Thursday morning. Here is what we will be dancing: Rocky Top, All Shook Up, Sold, Ida Red, Hold Your Horses, Mama Mia, Turbo Polka, Munster Rag, What a Feeling, and Cry of the Celts.

For Thursday, please arrive at 11 AM at the Senior Center (Diamondhead) in Burnsville. We will wear our blue shirts from last summer and black pants. Diamondhead is two levels, with the lower level being where the senior center is located. Take 35W to Burnsville Pkwy. and go east. Turn left on Pleasant Av. and follow the signs. You will want to park in what looks like the back of the building.

Thursday night comp team will do freestyles, Faith, and Soul Sister. 8 PM class will keep reviewing the dances we should know.

AWESOME job at our shows last week! All the torture....er....practice definitely paid off! ;)

Remember this is IRISH WEEK! Tuesday we will do beginner Irish dance moves and Thursday we will learn a little more difficult stuff. I will e-mail a "cue sheet" to you to preview and will try to have a few copies available at class. If you're not interested in learning Irish, have a good week off!

For those who weren't there last week: remember you can wear your clogging shoes for the hard shoe lesson. You will want ballet shoes or jazz shoes for soft shoe. Sneakers are ok too just please make sure they are clean and dry. :)

Our show is at 7 PM and we are wearing black capris and our summer blue shirts. Thursday night class will discuss if we still want to have practice or not when we are done, depending on the time.

On Saturday please arrive at Southdale mall in Edina by 12:30. We are wearing black pants and our new black shirts.

Also, the spot of "WRC soundman" is currently open. If you know anyone who is interested, please let me know!

This week Thursday comp team will do the acapella and Faith - remember this is "audition" night if you want to compete with the acapella in January. Thursday class will run Ski Bumpus, Topsoil and So Excited. And maybe How to Dance - if I remember to grab the music. :)
